Jade bracelet belonging to my customer's mother, who loves the jade but not so much the design (which is almost 30 years old)!
The verdant green jade hints at greenery and Mother Nature, while the golden bird adds a youthful, adorable touch to this one-of-a-kind ring.
A more youthful look is achieved for this matching pendant by using a baby pink sapphire which the younger daughter picked out herself.

Beautiful jade, but tarnished gold (common for old gold jewellery to have higher bronze/copper content). My customer's instructions were to glam up these jade pieces, and to make them wearable again.
Re-set the jade pieces in an unconventional arrangement with round and marquise shape diamonds. This helped to draw attention away from the asymmetrical sizes of the jade, and to make the overall piece look larger and more modern.
The chain was specially custom made so as to be consistent with the leafy theme, and to be proportionate to the body o the bracelet.
